Júlia came to JCU from the Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil. She did her MS field work in Rondonia, Brazil, where she conducted an experimental translocation of amphibians and reptiles to simulate faunal rescue interventions widely used in Brazil. She graduated with her MS in 2018, and is currently a PhD student in Martha Muñoz’s lab at Yale University.
