Carly received an undergraduate summer research fellowship to help quantify microhabitat availability across a forest disturbance gradient in the El Silencio nature reserve in 2023. She graduated with her BS in Environmental Science in 2024 and received her MS in 2026 with Kelsey Reider at James Madison University.
