Micah has degrees in Japanese from Portland State University and Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences from Oregon State University. He worked around the US as a wildlife tech, and for his MS project Micah used remotely-sensed data to conduct a threats analysis on male sea turtles in the Gulf of Mexico. Micah graduated in 2022, published his thesis in Remote Sensing, and currently works with the US Fish and Wildlife Service
